Series that revolved around a race called the Valorians who wind up in the prehistoric past on Earth due to a time jump with the 'step' crystal, but are closely followed by their arch-enemies, the Rulons. The Rulons are a group of reptillian creatures who will stop at nothing to destroy the Valorians. They put mind-control harnesses on the most powerful carnivorous dinosaurs and use them against the Valorians. The Valorians have a crystal called an 'Amp' that they wear around their necks which enables them to speak to the dinosaurs and use them to fight back at the foe.
