Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck are nephew of Donald Duck, and when Donald goes to join the Navy, he leaves their care to his own uncle - the Scottish Scrooge McDuck. He is the richest duck in the world, and made his success through business. He's a caring family duck though, and loves his three great-nephews. Each episode would usually centre around the villains trying to steal Scrooge's great wealth one way or another. There was a spin-off feature film, Ducktales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and two spin-off tv shows: Darkwing Duck and Quack Pack.
