The Popples was a cutsie cartoon series that was based on a successful toy line by Mattel, and actually started life as a live-action pilot episode. The name "Popple" comes from the noise they make when they pop out from their furry pouch! They share their adventures with children Billy and Bonnie, who often seem to resent the Popples showing up, as they tend to make a mess, cause problems or just generally get in the way. Though they often help clean or fix things up afterwards before their parents get home. One of the few cartoons where there isn't really a villain as such!
