Visionaries was a short-lived cartoon series based on a toy line by Hasbro. It told the stories of two groups of Knights - the Spectral Knights (goodies) and the Darkling Lords (baddies). Each knight, after completing various tasks set by wizard Merklynn, was rewarded with a magical animal totem which appears on the front of their armour. Each animal represents their skills and emotions, and can be called upon to help, but their energy must be recharged periodically.
